Privacy
A short policy for a small site. No accounts, no cart, no newsletter.
What is collected
Ordinary server logs: the page asked for, the time, the browser string, the IP address. They exist to keep the site up and to spot abuse. They are rotated and deleted, never sold, never used to build a profile of you.
PIPEDA, in plain language
This site is run from Alberta and handles personal information the way Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act expects: collect the least necessary, use it only for the reason it was collected, keep it only as long as needed, and let people ask what is held about them. Here that is a log line and, if you write to me, your email. Ask and I will delete it.
Advertising cookies
The site itself sets no advertising cookies and runs no analytics pixel. I do run small search ads, and the search platform sets its own cookies when you click an ad — those belong to the platform, not to me, and they exist to measure and target advertising. You can block or clear them in your browser or in the platform's ad settings; this site works either way.
A word about how some visitors found this page
If you arrived from an ad: this is an independent keeper's journal, not the zoo and not a ticket seller. The official site is here.
